This kraft paper bag mockup is a set of five scenes for presenting retail, grocery, or boutique packaging on a real shopping bag. It’s a standard twisted-handle kraft bag with visible paper grain and creasing, photographed in hard directional light against neutral grey and concrete.
Five scenes cover the range: a person mid-stride carrying the bag, a hand holding it up against a plain wall, the bag propped on a dark wooden chair with a shaft of sunlight across it, a straight-on shot standing on concrete, and an outdoor street walk. Two lifestyle carries, two clean product shots, one styled interior — enough to build a full brand page without a second download.
What’s inside and how to use it
Every scene is driven by a smart object. Double-click the layer, drop in your logo or full-bleed artwork, hit save, and it maps back onto the bag with the paper texture, folds, and shadows still reading through. The creases and gusset shading live in the base file, so your artwork picks up the wrinkle in the paper instead of sitting flat on top of it. The front panel is generous, which means wordmarks and stacked type hold up even in the walking shots.
Where it works
Use the mockups for retail and boutique branding, coffee shop and bakery packaging, grocery and eco brand identity decks, ecommerce product pages, and client pitches where you need the packaging to look like it already exists. Kraft reads as sustainable and unbranded by default, so it does useful work for eco-conscious and small-batch positioning.
Worth noting: I kept the lighting hard rather than soft across the set on purpose. Kraft is a low-contrast material and it goes muddy under diffused light — a sharp shadow edge is what makes the paper grain and the fold lines actually visible. If you’re choosing one scene to lead with, take the chair shot; the sunlight streak across the front panel does more for a logo than any of the clean shots will.
